Output Report

Output Report is the results report you get after a run: a window with a tab for every part of the model, where you read, filter, and chart the numbers, and hand them to the AI for analysis.

The Output Report after a run.

Output Report opens as a set of tabs, one for each part of the model, with a row of key figures across the top. The report tabs cover the Summary, Activities, Entities, Resources, Routes, and the rest, and every table can be filtered, sorted, and searched (see Filtering results).

Because a model runs with variation, Output Report also reports the spread of the results across replications, with confidence intervals so you know how precise each figure is.

  • Impact Analysis ranks activities by where time is spent, so bottlenecks stand out.
  • Queue Diagnostics shows, as a heatmap, where and when work piles up.
  • Costs rolls up the cost of activities, resources, and entities.
  • AI Analysis reads the results and explains what to fix first, in plain language.

You can export the report to a spreadsheet, copy any table, and reopen past runs from the run history.

LegacyHow this worked in the previous version

Output Report is the advanced simulation output reporting engine for ProcessModel. It serves as the “engine room” for analysis, providing granular data visibility to understand the current state of your system, while simultaneously offering an “AI Layer” to automate insight and predict optimal solutions.

When a simulation is complete, Output Report replaces the traditional output report, offering a ribbon-based interface to filter, customize, and analyze performance metrics.

The Output Report window is organized into a Ribbon Menu at the top, a Report Navigation pane on the left, and the main Data View.

The ribbon is organized into functional sections to help you manage data visibility:

  • Tabs: Toggle the visibility of specific report tabs (e.g., hiding Resources if only focusing on Entities).
  • Columns: Filter specific columns within a report to hide information not useful for your immediate analysis.
  • Personalize: Change the visual theme of the report.
  • Filter: Apply specific logic to narrow down data in the Impact Analysis.
  • AI Analysis: Select a focus (e.g., Throughput Time, Cost) and trigger the AI interpretation of your model.
  • Custom Report: Tools to create new comparative reports, add images, or text.
  • Export: Export data to Excel or print reports.
  • Support: Access help documentation.

Output Report automatically generates ten general reports that expose the raw performance of the system. These tabs are located at the top of the Data View.
